Hear Us 4 Locations | ESC

The Client

Hear Us Audiology is a multi-location hearing care clinic serving Windsor-Essex County, led by Iman Saddy — a Hearing Instrument Specialist and Certified Dementia Practitioner. What makes Hear Us different isn’t just the breadth of services: hearing tests, hearing aid evaluations, tinnitus treatments, earwax removal, pediatric assessments, and assistive listening devices. It’s the philosophy. Iman and her team believe that hearing loss is connected to cognitive health, quality of life, and social connection — and they treat patients accordingly.

ESC has been with them since before their first patient walked through the door.

When Hear Us launched their first location in Amherstburg in 2023, they had one clinic, a vision, and no digital presence at all. No website. No ads. No brand identity online. No system for patients to find them. Over the next two years, they grew to four locations across the region — and ESC was building the digital foundation at every step.

The Real Problem

Hear Us launched as a new clinic with no existing digital infrastructure whatsoever. They weren’t trying to fix something broken — they were starting from zero, in one of the most compliance-heavy healthcare environments a marketing team can work in.

The challenges were:

  • No website — at all. Not an outdated one, not a generic template. There was nothing. Before ESC, there was no online presence for Hear Us.
  • A regulated environment with very specific rules. Regulated Health Professions guidelines govern exactly how hearing clinics can present themselves online. Staff must be referred to as Hearing Care Professionals — not Audiologists or Hearing Doctors (unless specifically certified to that designation). No patient names or testimonials that identify individuals. No unsubstantiated outcome claims. Most agencies either don’t know these rules exist or don’t want to learn them.
  • Multiple distinct service categories. Hearing aids, hearing loss, tinnitus, earwax removal, pediatric testing, and online assessments — each requiring its own pages, its own SEO strategy, and its own ad approach. This wasn’t a one-page clinic.
  • Growing geography. As Hear Us opened new locations — LaSalle, Tecumseh, then Windsor — each new market needed its own digital presence, local search visibility, and targeted campaigns.
  • No way to know if anything was working. Before a proper leads tracking system was in place, form submissions were coming in but there was no clear picture of who booked, who showed up, and who purchased a hearing aid. Marketing was flying blind.

It Worked

Hear Us Lead Growth Overtime | ESC

This engagement worked because ESC showed up at the beginning — not to inherit an account and optimize it, but to build everything from scratch alongside a practice that was finding its footing.

The starting point wasn’t fixing a broken website. It was creating the first one: an original WordPress build designed from the ground up to serve a hearing clinic — clean, patient-focused, fully accessible, and compliant with every Regulated Health Professions requirement from day one. When Hear Us added new locations, ESC built new location pages. When new services came online, ESC built the service pages. The site grew with the clinic.

Advertising followed structure. Google Search campaigns were built around the services that actually convert — hearing tests, hearing aids, tinnitus — with negative keyword management to eliminate wasteful spend. Over time, the campaigns matured into consistent, month-over-month purchase attribution — trackable all the way back to the specific keyword and ad that drove each appointment. Meta campaigns ran a full TOFU-to-BOFU funnel — broad awareness ads targeting Windsor-Essex adults, with MOFU and retargeting layers bringing warm audiences back. The top-performing Meta creative drove leads at a cost the team flagged as exceptional for healthcare advertising in this region.

When SEO launched properly in late 2025, it was done right: a full technical audit, individual location pages with local business schema for all four clinics, a complete service page architecture covering tinnitus sub-categories, hearing loss types and causes, earwax removal, assistive devices, pediatric testing, and an integrated online hearing test. Blog content launched to support keyword rankings and patient education.

And the leads tracking system — built by ESC’s web team directly into the website’s form infrastructure — gave Hear Us something they’d never had: visibility. Every inquiry that comes in through the website now syncs automatically to a live Google Sheet that the admin team maintains. They log each lead, whether the patient booked, whether they showed up, and whether they purchased. That loop between marketing and clinical outcomes is what turns ad spend into a real business investment.

The Strategy

1. Building the First Website — From Nothing
ESC Hear Us Website Design | ESC

When ESC started working with Hear Us, the first task was building a website that didn’t exist yet.

The brief was clear: a professional, trustworthy, accessible website that would work for a hearing clinic — not a generic template that could belong to any practice. ESC built a custom WordPress site with a homepage and full page architecture covering Hear Us’s core services (hearing tests, hearing aid evaluations, tinnitus treatment, hearing aid troubleshooting), an integrated online hearing test powered by Phonak Pro, and a Book an Appointment system.

Every page was written with compliance embedded from the first draft. Staff are Hearing Care Professionals. No patient names appear in any testimonial. The tone is warm and educational without making claims the practice can’t stand behind. The site has been updated continuously since launch — new service pages, new location pages, an exit-intent popup, improved form fields, landing page refinements for ads, and full CRO updates as the advertising data revealed what wasn’t converting.

2. Google Ads — Campaigns That Reached Real Buyers

Hearing care advertising has a conversion challenge that most healthcare categories don’t: the person who actually needs hearing aids often doesn’t think of themselves as someone who needs hearing aids. They’ve been nodding along in conversations for years. They’ve been turning up the television. They’ve been asking people to repeat themselves — and calling it bad acoustics.

ESC’s Google campaigns were built to catch people at the moment of intent — when they searched for a hearing test, hearing clinic, or help with tinnitus in Windsor, LaSalle, Tecumseh, or Amherstburg. Search campaigns were structured around the services that matter most: hearing assessments, hearing aids, tinnitus treatment. Location-specific campaigns targeted each of Hear Us’s four communities individually.

Offline conversion tracking — a Google Ads feature that closes the loop between a form submission and an actual sale — was built directly into the campaigns using a data sheet tied to Hear Us’s patient records. This meant ESC could confirm not just who clicked an ad, but which campaigns were driving real hearing aid purchases. Through Q4 2025 and into early 2026, the campaigns delivered consecutive months of confirmed purchases — a level of attributed sales the account hadn’t seen in its earlier phases, with month-over-month conversion growth reaching 56% at its peak.

Ongoing optimizations included negative keyword management to remove wasteful spend (including the “audiologist” keyword category, which was driving high spend without conversions), landing page improvements, headline A/B testing, and a shift to Performance Max campaigns with audience signals focused on local reach and store visits.

3. Meta Ads — A Full Funnel for a Complex Sale

A hearing aid is not an impulse purchase. It’s a decision that can take months from first awareness to first appointment to actual fitting. ESC built Meta campaigns that reflect that reality: a proper three-stage funnel with different creative, different messaging, and different objectives at each stage.

TOFU (Top of Funnel): Broad awareness targeting Windsor-Essex adults 25+. The strongest creative here was the “18+ Free Assessments” campaign, which drove leads at a cost the team flagged as exceptional for healthcare advertising in this region — consistently one of the top-performing healthcare lead campaigns ESC has run. Tinnitus creative also consistently generated strong engagement, as it reaches a younger demographic who may not yet identify with hearing loss. Messaging at this stage focused on education and empathy: “Hearing loss doesn’t only happen with age.” A dementia connection angle — reflecting Iman’s certification as a Dementia Practitioner — proved to be one of the most consistent performers in the account.

MOFU (Middle of Funnel): Warmer audiences who had engaged with TOFU content or visited the site. Creative here introduced the free assessment offer more directly and featured specific services including pediatric testing — a key differentiator for Hear Us.

BOFU (Bottom of Funnel): Retargeting visitors with direct appointment-booking calls to action. Location-specific ads for each of the four clinic areas brought people back to book.

Creative was refreshed regularly — phasing out underperformers, testing new imagery (including a deliberate focus on trade workers with “protection gear” creative to reach a Windsor-specific demographic), and updating all assets when Hear Us updated their branding mid-engagement.

4. SEO — Building Authority from the Ground Up
Hear Us Overtime SEO Growth scaled | ESC
  • Google Search campaigns built around the clinic’s core services and local intent keywords
  • Call tracking integrated to measure actual patient calls, not just clicks
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns created for local awareness and direct appointment inquiries
  • All ad creative produced in compliance with RCDSO healthcare advertising standards
  • Budget managed and optimized monthly — Google Ads cost per tracked call improved by 19% in two months
5. The Leads System — Closing the Loop Between Marketing and Outcomes

One of the most operationally important things ESC built for Hear Us had nothing to do with ads or rankings.

ESC’s web development team built an automated leads sync — connecting every form submission on the Hear Us website directly to a live Google Sheet. Every time someone books an appointment, requests information, or completes the online hearing test, a new row is automatically created in the sheet with the patient’s details and form source.

The admin team then updates each row: Did the patient book? Did they show up? Did they move forward with hearing aids? That closed-loop reporting means the ESC team can now see — with real patient outcome data, not just ad platform metrics — which campaigns are actually producing appointments and sales.
